Please bear with me as I work on updating this page. I am in the process of re-opening a private spa studio and so the information on this page will be updated soon.
I would like for all of my clients to have the most comfortable, relaxing and safest experience possible. It is for this reason I have put the following policies in place. I appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Appointments
See our NO SHOW/LATE CANCEL policy. Please be on time for all appointments as a courtesy to your service provider and clients who come after you. We do understand that sometimes things come up and unforeseen things happen that may create an on-time issue. In the event this occurs, please call the studio at 919-562-5440 (or text) to ensure that your service can still be provided or if rescheduling will be necessary.
New clients need to arrive at the designated location 15 minutes prior to their actual appointment time in order to fill out our “New Client Questionnaire”. This is to ensure that we are providing the safest, fully informed and most suitable service for each client.
Client Illness
If you are sick (cough, fever, sniffles, etc) please stay home and reschedule. We reserve the right to reschedule if a client shows up sick.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
At this time I am not charging cancellation or late reschedule fees. But please be courteous and provide notification at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Please understand that last-minute cancellations and no-shows result in a loss of income for your provider. There will only be a fee charged if it becomes habitual.
No Show/Late Cancel Policy:
- There is a 24-hour MINIMUM cancellation notice required.
- Habitual no-show/late arrivals may require prepayment to reserve appointment time.
- In the event an appointment is reserved with a Gift Certificate and there is a no-show or late cancellation the gift certificate will be marked as redeemed for the appointment amount and will no longer have that amount available for use.
Cell Phone Use In Studio
Please either turn your phones off or put them on vibrate while in the studio. The use of cell phones during your visit interferes with the quality of and our ability to provide your service.
Children In The studio
Our studio is not equipped to entertain children while parents receive services. Nor is there room to accommodate children while we are performing services. Please make arrangements for childcare for the duration of your services. This is a safety issue as well as a comfort issue for other location guests and service providers.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash and cash will not be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift Certificates purchased for “Combo” services must be used in ONE visit and may not be divided into separate appointments. Gift Certificates ARE transferable. BB is not responsible for lost Gift Certificates.
Gratuities
While I do absolutely appreciate my clients’ generosity, Botanical Blends Studio is a “no-gratuity”, privately owned, single operator salon studio. As such, my prices are set to reflect a fair value for services rendered. All of my clients receive the same high level of service using professional products….and tip size does not matter. 🙂

Share my business on your social media.
Share my business with your friends and family (I have plenty of business cards available).
Leave a review online.
Payments
- Forms of payment accepted: Cash, Check, M/C, Visa, AmEx, Discover.
- If paying with a credit card and you are a new client, you may be asked to provide a photo ID. This is for your protection.
- There is a $25 fee for all returned payments regardless of the reason for being returned.
- Pre-payment may be required for multiple services and clients booked at the same time (ex. off-site events, multiple blocks of time).
Pedicures (when available)
Please be sure to wear, or bring with you, open-toed shoes such as flip flops.
Be sure all toes are visible and easy to get to for polish.
We do offer disposable pedicure slippers in the event you forget.
Certain medical conditions may dictate the process and type of service provided. It is very important to disclose any and all medical conditions prior to receiving your services. Some pedicure services may not be available to all clients due to medical conditions or concerns. It is equally important to let us know if you have any allergies (nut, perfume, or other ingredients) so that we can be sure to avoid using products that may contain these allergens.
We are not physicians and do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or cure medical conditions in the salon. For this reason, clients who exhibit the following will be declined service and referred to a physician (not limited to): signs of athlete’s foot, open sores/ wounds, ingrown nails, signs of infection, signs of plantar’s warts, etc. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason that may be cause for concern or question.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change. We do our best to inform our clients ahead of time of any pending price changes.
Privacy
Your privacy is very important to us. At no time will your information be shared, sold, or given to a 3rd party with our knowledge.
